The plan has no processed food or refined sugar, all the meals are made from wholefoods. They are quick and simple and don’t have any fancy or expensive ingredients! The plan focuses on weight loss balancing blood sugars and supports digestion and gut health!
Its important when we start any sort of healthy weight loss journey that we focus on the quality of the food we eat, just not the quantity. Eating wholesome real food, balancing blood sugars, moving more and staying well hydrated are all key to getting to your goal weight.
REMIND YOURSELF THAT REAL FOOD AND HEALTHY LIVING IS A WAY TO LOVE YOURSELF EVERYDAY
Eating foods that contain a high level of sugar means your body has to work very hard to process it which will eventually play havoc on your immune system, your digestive system and it will also send your blood sugars sky high giving you a quick burst of energy for 10-15 minutes but you will crash and feel tired and sluggish a short will after the ‘sugar high’! Its a vicious circle, the dopamine effect of the sugar will have you going back for more and again a little while later you will feel like crap again and again!
Potatoes, breads, pastas etc all have the same effect on the body and brain as sugar like chocolate, jellies, pastries etc. The minute you put any of these into your mouth they convert to sugar (glucose) at an alarming rate, spiking your blood sugar and in turn insulin which is your fat storage hormone. When you eat them, only eat small amounts and eat them with a good quality protein and fat to keep blood sugars balanced. Carbohydrate intolerance is very common in our western diets, know the symptoms and make small steady changes that will have long term results, just not for weight loss but for your over all health!

Get started on the meal plan, move more, aim for up to four times a week whether its walking, a class, yoga, gym or a home workout just get moving.
